Room Division Manager

RightMove Recruitment are now hiring an experienced Room Division Manager to join our client, a 3* Hotel.

This position involves overseeing and managing various aspects of the accommodations division to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for the guests.

Responsibilities:

1. Front Desk Operations:

  • Supervise and manage front desk activities, including check-in, check-out, and guest services.
  • Ensure efficient handling of guest inquiries, requests, and complaints.
  • Monitor and maintain high standards of customer service.

2. Reservations Management:

  • Oversee the reservation process, ensuring accurate and timely bookings.
  • Coordinate with the sales and marketing team to optimise room occupancy and revenue.
  • Implement and manage an effective room inventory system.

3. Housekeeping Management:

  • Supervise housekeeping staff to maintain cleanliness and order in guest rooms and public areas.
  • Implement and maintain quality standards for housekeeping services.
  • Coordinate with maintenance for room repairs and upgrades.

4. Guest Relations:

  • Foster positive relationships with guests to enhance their overall experience.
  • Address and resolve guest concerns or issues promptly.
  • Implement guest loyalty programmes and initiatives.

5. Financial Management:

  • Prepare and manage the room division budget.
  • Monitor and control expenses related to housekeeping, front desk, and related departments.
  • Maximise revenue through strategic pricing and occupancy management.

6. Training and Development:

  • Train, mentor, and develop staff to maintain high service standards.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
  • Ensure staff is well-versed in hotel policies and procedures.

7. Collaboration with Other Departments:

  • Work closely with other departments, such as sales, marketing, and food and beverage, to ensure a coordinated approach to guest services.
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings and initiatives.

Reporting

The Room Division Manager will report to the General Manager and Managing Director

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: €33,000.00-€35,000.00 per year
